Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
I started my ACCA career with PFT in August 2013. It’s been 2 years to this path and I am at the final stage of completing my qualification, all thanks to PFT.
It wouldn’t have been possible with the utmost support from the tutors of PFT and the real determination they showcase in making sure that we pass tackle the paper in the simpler manner in the limited time we have.
I got the opportunity to represent Phoenix Financial Training in GETEX -2015 where I got to interact with professionals and qualified employees working in UAE and students and even parents opting for ACCA and exhibit the options they could have.
It’s a privilege to be a part of Phoenix Financial Training as a student and even as a representative. Thanks a lot to the all the tutors and the Admin team.
My time at Phoenix has been a delight. Especially due to the teaching and staff. I find the programs offered by Phoenix are well structured and quite comprehensive. As a result I didn’t feel the same amount of pressure that I would have felt otherwise. I was able to go to the examination with a degree of confidence. So overall I would say that my experience at Phoenix has been quite memorable.
The teachers at Phoenix have been very thoughtful and considerate about their students. I feel that they genuinely go above and beyond what they are normally required to do and ensure that their students are in the best position possible to pass the exams. I found the classes quite flexible and productive. The teachers are very good at their jobs and ensure that their students are focused in class. The teachers share their valuable experience to help students relate better to the topics taught.
The additional help offered by Phoenix in helping students looking to start their career in their desired fields is a fantastic initiative by Phoenix. It has been quite helpful personally as it has led me to attain a job I like very much. I definitely believe it’s something to look into and it could be helpful to you in the same way it has been helpful to me.

Studying at Phoenix has been a wonderful experience. The tutors are world class and they really take a personal interest in helping you out as much as possible. The style and quality of teaching is, in my opinion, simply the best. Even the people from the office are great and always willing to help out.
They also take a great interest in the career development of their students. There are constant updates on their website and Facebook page regarding both part time and full time vacancies in market leading organizations. I myself am currently interning at a leading multinational insurance company thanks to Phoenix.
Overall I am extremely happy that I chose Phoenix with which to pursue my accounting qualification. They are clearly the best choice!
From day one of my ACCA studies, I have been a student of Phoenix Financial Training for almost 2 years now. Phoenix has been immensely instrumental to help me pass all my exams with great marks, in the first attempt itself.
My experience with Phoenix continues to be amazing. Their expertise in organizing & scheduling classes, very friendly administrative people, ease of the process of enrollment to be a student on Phoenix visa are some of the reasons why my experience has been great.
The tutors at Phoenix are very exam focused, very professional and knowledgeable. They go to great extents to help students at any given point.
When I got an opportunity to be a student helper at GETEX, the experience turned out to be very useful as I got to interact with different kinds of people and convey to them why Phoenix would be ideal for their studies.

About the ACCA Qualification
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) offers a global qualification based on International Financial Reporting Standards designed to provide the accounting knowledge, skills and professional values to enable you to become a Finance Professional and build a successful career in all sectors such as auditing, banking, finance, industry, hospitality and logistics.
The ACCA offers entry routes for those with A Level or equivalent (The ACCA Qualification) in addition to an open entry route (Foundations in Accountancy). Whilst the FIA programme is a qualification in its own right, most students choose to do the three FIA Diploma level papers and then transfer to the ACCA qualification. In practice this means that most students will progress seamlessly through their ACCA studies irrespective of entry requirements. However Phoenix strongly advises that students wait until they are 18 years old in order to have the necessary maturity to handle the demands of professional study and be old enough, upon qualification, to make a meaningful contribution in the workplace. All personal circumstances are different however, so please contact us to discuss your requirements and we will provide the best, tailored, impartial advice in the market.
There is a strong focus on professional values, ethics and governance. This is essential because the profession is moving towards strengthened codes of conduct, regulation and legislation, which is why the ACCA qualification has an increased focus on professionalism and ethics in accounting.
Professionalism and ethics is examined at the highest level in the ACCA Qualification. It is also a main part of the practical experience that you must complete to qualify as a full member.
To qualify as an ACCA member, you will need to complete:
A minimum of five out of 14 exams (nine are eligible for exemption*) please scroll to the bottom of this page for detailed information on the examinations
Record 36 months’ experience in a relevant accounting or finance role
The Professional Ethics module
*Up to nine of the exams which are part of the qualification may not need to be taken if you have other relevant qualifications at the same level. You will need to provide proof of your previous qualifications so you can claim exemptions.
As you progress to full ACCA membership, there are qualifications you can gain along the way. This is a great way to demonstrate your knowledge and skills to employers and helps keep you on track and motivated. You can achieve:
- A Diploma in Accounting and Business
- An Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business
- A BSc (Hons) degree in Applied Accounting awarded by Oxford Brookes University
Our courses are delivered in the D.I.F.C and the Dubai World Trade Centre by carefully selected and approved tutors who are the envy of our competitors. With flexible payment options and course hours to suit a multitude of personal schedules, and a long list of student success stories, at Phoenix we always put the student first.
