Hey, I'm Yvette and I recently passed my CFA level two exam while studying at Phoenix. My experience at Phoenix was absolutely brilliant. The tutors were super engaging and they always made it a point to have the classes interesting which kept students focused in the most difficult subjects. Hi everyone. My name is Suhan and I'm currently pursuing CFA level two with Phoenix Financial Training. I recently completed my CFA level one exam back in February 2025 and I passed level one. So far it has been a great experience pursuing CFA with Phoenix. CFA is a demanding course, yet it can be fun and exciting at the same time. It requires a lot of discipline and you know significant investment of your time to pursue this course. I’m am a Senior Associate at Deloitte. I completed my ACCA in 2021 and am now pursuing CFA with Phoenix Financial Training. One of the main reasons I chose CFA is its diverse and comprehensive curriculum. ACCA builds a strong foundation, but CFA takes it deeper, covering areas like Economics, Financial Statement Analysis, and Fixed Income—something I once found daunting but mastered with the help of amazing tutors like Shiv. Equity quickly became one of my favorite topics! The learning curve keeps growing, and with Phoenix’s expert guidance, I’ve expanded my knowledge immensely. Finance has always been my passion, and I’m excited to continue building my career in this field.

I work for Finmark Capital, which is a DIFC-regulated external asset management firm. I manage high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth relationships for them. I’ve been in the wealth management industry for almost a decade now. For Level 1, the CFA Institute prescribes about 300 hours of combined learning, out of which 150 were just the Phoenix classes and the revision segment. That was all classroom learning. The remaining 150 hours were self-study, broken up into question practice, a bit of reading, and rewatching the lecture videos that Phoenix provides. The Phoenix notes were effectively the guiding light or the gospel that I followed and built my entire preparation around. Of course, there’s a bit of sacrifice involved in going back to studying after a long break. It takes time, and that time has to come from somewhere in the day. You have to be disciplined about it.

I recently cleared CFA Level I. I was always interested in finance, and CFA seemed to be the right option for me to deepen that knowledge and explore more career opportunities. Phoenix was amazing. The classes were well-structured, providing an environment where I felt confident and supported throughout. Especially my tutors, Mr. Shiv Mehta and Sanjay Sagar—they broke down the complicated topics very well. The study materials were really helpful. I joined Phoenix FT in 2020 to complete my ACCA exams and within 12 months or so I am now an ACCA affiliate after passing all my papers on the 1st attempt!
